We believe the best outcome for your residential large block or rural landscape project comes from experience, based on sound industry knowledge and skills across design, architecture and construction.
You wouldn’t design an interior room, without first considering the layout, functionality and required building work. The same is true for exterior spaces.
A landscape designer or architect may be able to create an aesthetic that meets your vision, but without construction experience they will not know if materials, techniques or budget restraints may stop it from coming to reality.
This can be a costly realisation once you get into the planning process of your project.
Our expertise covers landscape design, architecture, horticulture and construction, so you can feel reassured that all elements of your project have been considered, from legislation and functionality, to horticulture, sustainability and style.

How our unique process works
Before we get into the process we’ll hold a discovery session. This is a free 20 minute phone call where we discuss your project, vision and the cost for the consultation phase.
Phase 1: Consultation and planning
The consultation is the most crucial part of your landscape project. Here we assess the space and turn any constraints (whether legislative or environmental) into opportunities.
The Consultation process comes in two parts
Part 1: Office research to understand council and state legislations which may impact the landscape design
Part 2: A site visit with Angela where we bring along our research and together we discuss your ideas, concepts, style and options
For more detail on the consultation process, download our Consultation Guide
Phase 2: Landscape architecture and design
Using decades of experience in landscape design, architecture and construction across the East Coast of Australia, Angela and the team, not only consider the aesthetics of your garden or space, but also:
- Drainage and levels (the basics of all good design)
- The architecture of the existing buildings in and around the property
- How the space will be used, the lifestyle, access and functionality
- Planting design, including hedging, plant choices and colour
- Location and limitation of any additional features including swimming pools and equestrian facilities
Phase 3: Construction and installation
This is where most landscape architects and designers may step away from the project, however we bring our construction experience to the installation phase.
Here we’ll coordinate to ensure all safety, legislation and aesthetic considerations are met and the vision of your project comes to reality.
“We knew in the first meeting we would work with Angela because she understood what we wanted and really listened.
I liked the way Angela walked around the site and looked at all the issues with some instant solutions then and there, very impressive.
I also liked the rigorous design process that was logical and went through various stages, with explanations of why the concepts ended up as they did.”
